Napster - Its Back

Napster is all set to relaunch itself as an MP3 download store to compete against iTunes Stores. The new service will offer upwards of 6 million songs from all major music labels and many independent labels as well.

The plus point is that it would be lacking any copy protection or DRM schemes. Songs are going to cost about 99cents with albums costing $9.95

Whether this re launch becomes successful or not, the customers will definetly benifit out from this tough competition. Only time will tell if Napster can see again its past glorious days when it was referred as the father of digital media sharing.
