Well every one is aware of the rumor that Google is planning to buy Digg for about $200 billion. If you haven't read about this - you can read it here on techcrunch. It’s said that Google is on final negotiation to buy Digg for $200 million.
Now if Google really gets thru this deal then there really seems to be something big coming up. May be Google is planning to implement such a rating system to their social networking sites and if not can monetize it through their adsense. But still for $200 million their might be some other plans.
As it won't be difficult to implement something that Digg has done for Google - there is definitely something else - some other reason?
